Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) September 26, 2011 - The Pasadena Bar Association will be hosting a Business Development Conference on November 9, 2011 at Noor in Pasadena, where businesses related to the practice of law will be invited to showcase their products.
Special Guest speakers will be discussing topics related to business and management of a law practice and will hold short presentations on business related topics.
In regards to the upcoming event, Vice President-Program Chair of the Pasadena Bar Association, Donald P. Schweitzer said, "Way too often attorneys are great at what they do, i.e. the practice of law, but are poorly equipped to manage and operate their firms.We are hosting this event with the intention of providing our members with ideas, information, and tools to make their law firms a success."
The conference is free for all Pasadena Bar Association members and they expect a significant number in attendance.In addition, former Dodgers MVP, Don Newcombe, will be among those in attendance, signing autographs for members.
"We have invited thirty leading companies in our industry to showcase their products and services.Our guest speakers will discuss important topics related to the management of law firms which will provide our members with all kinds of ideas and suggestions," added Schweitzer.
The Pasadena Bar Association hopes to make their first attempt at a Business Development Conference into an annual event for their members.
