December 8th, Schweitzer Law Partners held its annual holiday party. Every year the firm presents the prestigious Don Moon Memorial Award to the employee that best exemplifies the spirit, hard work and dedication of Don Moon. This year that recipient was Natalie Peoples.
Don Moon (deceased) worked closely for many years with the firm as a private investigator. In honor of his memory the Don Moon Memorial Award was established.
When asked about what the award meant to her, Ms. Peoples said; "This was huge and completely unexpected. I didn't know Don Moon, but from what I can gather, he had a great sense of humor and a great work ethic. I can see that Don had the utmost respect for him. I work hard, I try to stay positive and go the extra distance and I think that these were some of the same qualities that Don Moon had."
Ms. Peoples wears several hats at Schweitzer Law Partners. She takes care of any technical issues that come up, she handles marketing and up keep of our social media sites, does some graphic art for the firm and the Pasadena Bar Association, manages content for the web sites and is the firm photographer.
Ms. Peoples graduated from college in Nebraska with a degree in Paralegal Science. Shortly after graduating, she came out to California. She has been with the firm since July 2010.
When asked about the decision to give the award to Ms. Peoples, Mr. Schweitzer had this to add; "Natalie was given the 2013 Don Moon Memorial Award because of her incredible work ethic, team spirit, and dedication to our firm. Natalie's contributions to the firm are deeply appreciated. She was the person responsible for implementing most our important projects this past year, dealing mostly with marketing and technology upgrades. Natalie can always be counted on when we have an urgent matter that needs to be taken care of. We are very fortunate to have Natalie on our team!"
Congratulations Natalie! Way to go!
