Family lawyers in Pasadena know that even if a client has gone through a messy divorce, chances are good that they will walk down the aisle again. Remarriages are pretty common in Southern California (and in Hollywood, being married and divorced several times is almost expected). Take actress/director Drew Barrymore, for example. The former child star walked down the aisle a third time over the weekend.
Photographers snapped Drew Barrymore and art consultant Will Kopelman on Saturday night leaving their wedding in the back of a classic convertible Mercedes. The car, which was decked out in pink ribbons and roses, served as the getaway vehicle for the pair, who celebrated their nuptials with friends and family at the actress's Montecito, Calif., home. They are reported to have spent the night in a hotel before leaving for their honeymoon. Cameron Diaz, Jimmy Fallon, Busy Phillips and Scarlett Johansson were among the celebrity guests in attendance.
Kopelman and Barrymore were engaged five months ago while vacationing in Sun Valley, Idaho, over the holidays. Kopleman is the son of former Chanel CEO Ari Kopleman and Barrymore wore a Chanel dress when she walked down the aisle. Barrymore is reportedly pregnant but she remains mum on the topic.
Kopelman and Barrymore's relationship went public in February 2011 after she broke up with longtime on-again-off-again boyfriend actor Justin Long. Barrymore was first married in 1994 to Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas. That relationship lasted a mere two months before Barrymore filed for divorce. She also married Canadian comedian and MTV personality Tom Green in July 2001. Green filed for divorce in December 2001 and the couple's divorce was finalized on October 15, 2002. Before hooking up with Long, Barrymore had a five-year relationship with Strokes drummer Fabrizio Morretti from 2002 to 2007. This is the first marriage for Kopelman and the first (at least rumored) child for both him and Barrymore.
