The Pasadena-based Schweitzer Law Partners celebrated their Pasadena Chamber of Commerce membership through a ribbon cutting ceremony at the firm on Tuesday night.
Attorney Donald Schweitzer’s new offices atop a Lake Avenue building are already up and running, but things were finally made official with their event.
“Rooting our business in Pasadena by supporting its residents, organizations
and the business community has always been one of our top priorities,”
said Don Schweitzer, partner and co-founder of Schweitzer Law Partners.
Schweitzer heads a family law practice that’s been in Pasadena for
11 years, but it wasn’t until recently that his business joined
the chamber.
Members of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Bill Bogaard were among some of the dignitaries in attendance.
“As we begin the New Year, we hope our membership to the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will connect us with neighboring businesses and colleagues we otherwise would not meet in the legal community,” he added.
“We’re celebrating becoming a member of the family of businesses that have served this community with honor,” he said, adding: “We’re not only gong to be longtime members, but contributing members.”
Schweitzer’s office were originally on a lower floor of 201 S. Lake Ave., but recently relocated to the eight floor where is practice, comprised of nine lawyers, takes up 6,000 square feet of office space.
The law firm celebrated their 10th year anniversary last year. Their services include complex child custody disputes, child and spousal support litigation, complex property disputes, (such as those involving business evaluations, hidden assets, intellectual property, and real estate), and estate planning before, during and after the dissolution process.
